Such a long gap. But nevermind that. IMCB has been quite good. Larnt alot of new stuff. ZOMG. The place is so hi-tech! You have access cards and what not, and doors open by scanning ur hand over this reader thing. Not exacctly biometric, but some sort of infrared sensor I presume. Came to school from IMCB straight, for RI ICC All-Arts. Was quite a letdown. No goods. Nevermind that. Basket. The RI vs SJI match got cancelled. KNBCCB. All like scared of rain and stuff. Walao... so disappointing. :|

Met the UMS members. They didn't know who I was :p. Kannan escaped with his life.

Wokae, gotta go mug. So long.

It's truly Monday blues for me. I'm going to fall into depression or something. It happens to be the worst Monday ever in my life. I experienced something that I've never experienced before. A feeling that can only be said to be dark and gloomy. The feeling of parting. My grandfather passed away today. I got the news when I was coming back home. I could clearly recal, how happy I was just a few moments ago, slacking around with the blaekes of CCG. And all of a sudden this. Ignorance is really bliss.

The thing that hit me hardest was that I couldn't cry. I was and am too emotionally drained to express much emotion. Is there something wrong with me, or is it just that I'm losing it? Am I human, or is it just that there's some barrier that's preventing me from doing so. The burden still remains, with no way to get out. Without an outlet of releasing that burden, life becomes unbearable. I'm slowly being sucked into the vortex.

I didn't know my grandfather really well. He was unable to converse coherently from the time I could understand what was goind around me. But, I still loved and respected him for he is indeed my grandfather, and I hope that he would be at peace in the world beyond free of sorrow and trouble. But his death has left my family in sorrow.

My mother and her siblings are the hardest hit. I don't know how they or my grandmother are. I'm all alone at home, left alone to mope in solitude. But life is unfair. It takes away everything bit by bit. And leaves nothing untouched not does it give you anything in return other than sorrow and misery. Or is it just me?

Till then, I shall sink into the deep. Surfacing is a question mark. But I know I'll have to eventually.

P.S : I know this is so unlike me, but I'm only human.

Another day, and it's Monday Blues again. Yet another week, looking forward to yet another TGIF. And then, it's another cycle - a vortex of time where you spin and spin and neither sink nor stop. Wow, so emo. Well, I don't really know what emo means - can someone enlighten me? Is it the same thing as emotional or some new word altogether?

Homework has been piled up like hell. Name the subject, you got it. Well, I've to clear through that pile of papers sitting on my tray now, before I do anything else. CTs are fast approaching, 11 more days and BAM! A ticking time bomb of a stack of questions lands on your desk, and you work against time to defuse it.

Oh God, please help! Oh my kadavullae!

My previous post, was soooo obviously a backlog. Well, I wanted to post up entries that I hadn't got around to, but I had procastinated too much. Too many entries, so yeah. Scraped the idea.

Well, had 2.4 today. The weather was cool and nice. I had a bad feeling about it but heck. My group was like the prodded runners group. I thought that I was the worst or something. I started from the back. Well, I was rather demoralised as I was rather far behind. Boon Ping, who was behind me, overtook me. I suddenly got an urge, and I pushed ahead. It was neck-and-neck for the most part, suddenly he seemed to slow down or something. One beaten. Then, in my next rounds, I beat Zenzel, Zenn and suprise Elton and Junwei. Alot of people were encouraging me, and that really did help me to overcome my mental barriers.

Suprisingly, I didn't have any breathing problems or stitches. In fact my speed was slowly increasing with each lap. The only problem was that, I was starting to feel dizzy and all during my 5th lap.But again, encouragement goes a long way. Even my PE teacher was like, "very good "and all. Son on I went to finish my run, last part I sprinted like shit. At the end, my legs just gave way and I peng sanned. People who were helping me up said that my body was damn cold, and that it meant that I had used up most of my energy. My timing? 11:26. Waaw! I had shaved 1+ minutes from my previous timing. I was damn happy, but too tired to smile also. A solid B! I know this may sound pathetic, but this was my best attempt so far, and I aim to improve it.

Some people were asking me if I trained for it - I was like NOOOO. I only gymmed , didnt do much cardio. My PE teacher was like, "very consistent laps". In fact he sounded suprised. Well, he had a reason to be. From last few, to like top half of class in terms of fitness! Surely, that was a great achievement!

But, I could neither walk nor talk. Damn shagged. My legs were and still are trembling. Waaw.

Ok, I'ev gotta go mug. See ya.

Well, today was a rather cool day. Went for ORA in the morning. Well, I found it rather dissappointing due to various reasons. Couldn't find a particular booth despite my efforts. sigh :P Well, I met Sara and Senthil there. It got quite boring, so we went to RI and played some cricket ther. Wow. They were trying to teach me the rules of the game, but sadly I feel cricket rules are beyond me.

So after an hour or so, we went to see what the Sorkalam debaters up to, and see if we could help them in any way and such. Everyone was complaining that the only reason why Sasi was in the team was because of Jacks. What hyprocrisy. He had also wonderfully left his script at home...wow. Well, everyone seemed to do ok, and we just threw in some ideas of our own. Poor Kannan, had to write a lot of Sasi's stuff for him. Well, I had a bad feeling about Sasi at the start itself. Then the RGS Sorkalam team suddenly appeared! We were all considering doing a variety of stuff. Either bomb them, paste wireless bugs all over their "practice area" , and so on. Well a big ROFL.

So later, the Sorkalam team left to makan and go to the place, while Kanna and I, together with nara/kelly/whatchahave - left a little later. While Kannan and I were - sappudiraaning at KFC, Kannan suddenly left to buy a Pepsi bottle, the significance of which would dawn upon me later.

Then nara came and we left in a cab for MDIS. She and her pallaiya kaalathu stories... -_-'. Well, when we got there I was like damn jack. No RI blacks there, and like Kannan knew everyone, while I knew no one... :( But Nara is damn baad lah, don't know who she is talking about, anyhow just whack only...Along came Nicholas(ulterior motives :p), and the debaters who were practicing at one corner. Then it was crunch time !!!

When, the RI kootam, which now included some Sec3 blacks - entered the debate room; I/We was like WTF ZOMG! The ratio or rgs people to ri people was like 36 million to 1, or something like that. Unfortunately, we had to wait freaking long, due to the great Yindian Standard Time or YST.

The debate started soon enough. The first speaker was all right, at least better than Sasi, but didnt really contribute much IMO. When Sasi spoke, ZOMG I felt like killing that idot! Started screwing up shit, and he din't rebut any of the opposition points. Basket. Well, the 2 opp speaker, was alright - nothing remarkable yet. When Chokalingam spoke right, I was like WOOHOOO. He was damn pro, supreme confidence exuded from him - even the RG kootam was like clapping for him. The 3 opp speaker was rather pro and all, nothing much to say. Subra screwred up his points, not being very fluent and all. QA was baad. For RG other than the 2 speaker, everyone did well, but for RI it was the inverse. Other than Ramasamy, the rest screwed up. Especially Sasi and Subra. I had a bad feeling about the whole issue. Geeva's specchwas ok, nothing notable. But when the last opp pseaker - Priyadarshini (I think), I thought we were super screwed. Though her points seemed very wrong, the way they were expressed tekan-ed our case. Well by the end, I knew RG had won.

Yeah, well waiting for the inevitable results, Ri lost of course. But suprisesuprise, Ram got best speaker along with Priyadarshini.

The best part comes later. As we were going home, the SJI makkal we like, eh RI vs SJI friendly soccer match! All of us were on. Hahah. Except Kannan who had someone waiting for him. It was damn fun. We thought that we would get owned, but we OWNED SJI.Lol. Like 10-6 or something like that? HAHAHAHAHA. Nick was damn pro keeper, but the hockeyness oozed into him, and instead of catching the ball, he tapped it down. Lol.

Sara, was the most prodded player, scoring most of the goals. The only good contribution that I made was kicking the ball just as it was about to cross the goal line, effectively preventing an SJI goal. Haha. We were playing for like damn loong. SJi guys are a bit anjacks, but generally cool fellas. Had a great time there. After which, was home sweet home...

Abbreviated World

The world today, abbreviated it is
In every sense, in every light
A massive spectre, spiralling
Towards singularity and synonymity

What a small place, this world is!
Meetings, crashes and collisions
Rapid-fire, one after another
Bridges aplenty, walls falling down

A world of karma, giant merry-go-round
What goes around, comes around
What goes up, eventually comes down
No where to escape, from this shrinking world

Perceived claustrophobia, compression
Closing in, bearing down, oppression
Non existent space, where time's unheard of
Super-glued together, hurtling towards one another

No crash-test dummies, test-subjects
Into the deep, crashes and all
Stop, we are going too fast
An abbreviated world - abbreviated lives

I went to the gym yesterday. Bishan gym is way better than Tampines one. Well, it's newer and looks livelier. Also, there are nice sights to see. Tsk tsk. Haha. Guess what? I saw my ex-French teacher at the gym. He taught me in Secondary 2 at MOELC. What a place to meet a long-forgotten person!

My abs are aching like siao. I dunno why. Maybe it's because of the 60 inclined sit-ups that I did. Haiz.

Flashes of lilac against obsidian black

An unearthly dance of streaks and blanks

Moving along to some unknown beat

Frenzied and randomly, without rhyme or reason

Dark and gloomy, infectiously moody

The only applause from a solitary figure

Thunder is his name, and booms his game

An unknown conductor conducting

The unsynchronized haphazard melody

Stinging, pelting soon follows

Needles of water bearing down

Acidic, alkaline, neutral may it be

Head to toe, chilled to the bone

The pitch black night drags on

Gloom asunder, a battle in the heavens

Shields and swords crashing

Spilled blood, seeps into the sky

A red night did it become

Alas, not a rainbow in sight.

Guess whose back, Guess whose back, Guess whose back, Guess whose back? Satt's back. Yo, yo peeps. Was I missed? I dunno. NAPFA was fucktarded, due to a number of reasons. Stuff, that I used to suck at, I now own. Stuff that I used to own - I suck at them. Sit-ups were a disaster. Uusally, I only get tired around the 40 plus mark. Now, I got tired at the 30 plus mark. KNBCCB. My pull-ups from 0 pull-ups went to 6. Gym did help in this aspect. My standing broad jump was a suprise. A bad one. I got like 210+ cm, but I only got 194cm due to my stupid groin injury coming back again. KNBCCB. Well, I have to redo my stations. Aaargh. I'm gonna hardcore. Slack a bit, and you die. Haiz.

Psst, don't blog about steel-recyclying companies, or any company. NS (ask me personally what it means), goes blog surfing, you know. I think they hire people to suf blogs to pick out any negative comments about them. They have spies everywhere. Are you one?

Sometimes, there's so much to say, but no way to express what you feel. Sometimes you have so much to say, but no time to show what you mean. Sometimes, you try to express, but it turns out wrong. Sometimes, there's nothing.

And that's why, the gap of 4 days.

Today was damn cool. During the last period, which was assembly - we had this art appreciation program(thankfully) in which the school invited Royston Tan to present his short films and all. I thought the films were rather cool; especially the first one with the whole medley of unsual sounds. He also had this short film, called Careless Whisperer - starring Patrick of S'pore Idol fame!! Lo and behold, he had actually brought Patrick along with him! Patrick was like damn shy and all, but I thought that he tried he best to be audible - indeed, you could at least hear him for once. Then everyone was like taking pictures and vidoes and all. Some were even waving their handphones in support of him. But our YH couldn't stand this "nonsense" and was firggin pissed. Once they left, he was like "What kind of behaviour is this?"etc. You know what he made the people caught do? Apologise to Royston and Patrick. WTF!!! I hear even some teachers disapprove of it. I'm not really sure. Just like the game of Chinese Whispers! Irony.

I have something final to add. Ponder this. Int the beginning you abhore them and shun them. Later, you don't mind them. Then, you acknowledge them. You begin to like them. Soon, you'll love them and then... Who are they?
