A new year is upon us and a new beginning. Hopefully 2009 turns out to be a good year for me. Results, med app, ocs eligibility etc etc. 2008 shall be shed like a too-small-and-old exoskeleton and I shall have to grow into 2009. I don't buy into the bullshit of only NS being able to make me a man, 'coz they have enough man-children there itself. But I do hope that NS turns out to be a good experience - at the very least a sub-10 2.4! I think my resolution for he year would be to go cold turkey. Got more than enough time to do so. Jiayou me.
Note to self : Keep a straight head and look ahead.

I realised that just letting something out, can change the way you look at a person - even someone whom you've known all your life.

I sat at my keyboard with a vague notion of having something to say, but then it turned out to be mere word-wisps floating about in brain-soup.

I don't get the deal with our sense of fashion. What is wrong with our sartorial sense? Seriously, knee length boots with tights? And furry at that? How come no one told me anything about the climate change? Tights/leggings(whatever) - the obsession many seem to have with them is insane. Wear it with everything? That's just one of my peeves. Maybe I'm being anal - but Singaporeans hardly seem to know what to wear and what not to, whether they can carry it off or whether they can't; and probably are oblivious of their status as fashion victims. I don't have any (fatally misguided)ideas of being some sort of Tim Gunn - but at least I try to dress properly, and not follow the often blind flock. Tokyoites probably need to teach us a few things or two...
