So here's a post. There has been a lack of proper posts by me. Haha - so here is one, I think. Here are some observations of mine, which are totally random. So don't mind me.

1) Vacuum cleaners are like stubborn children. Especially, if you are unskilled in the art of housework. They refuse to move around corners properly, without damaging to whatever extent; the doors, cupboards etc. They end up sucking things that you don't want in the bag. They scare pets. They are menaces I tell you. A Roomba would make a better alternative, but try telling that to your vacuum cleaner. It would most probably go on strike, and may even suck your brain out through your nose, just like the Egyptians did to embalm their mummies.

2) Performance Tasks (more (in)famously known as PTs/peetees) are infuriating pieces of crap. More so, they are higly amusing and ironic. For example, let's look at the PTs doled out by the Rafflesian Physics departments. Firstly, that of RI. During the one week "holiday" at the end of Term 1, a PT was handed out. The students were expected to calculate the cooling load for three adjacent rooms, taking into account 36 million other factors and variables. Much measurements had to be taken, which meant venturing into school, during the holidays. Also, 36 million calculations had to be computed, and as such the stress loads of these students increased exponentially, to the order of ^36. The Physics department had effectively gotten it's job done cheap - in that it outsourced the job of estimating the power consumption/cooling load of these rooms, to help reduce costs - for a nominal fee of $0.00. These students have expressed feelings of having been exploited. Next the Physics department of RGS. The author gathers from reputable sources that the students have been given a PT for submission during the holidays. They are to help design the homes of the Sri Lankan tsunami survivors/victims, and they are to wire the house using their knowledge of circuits and such. The important criterion is that the students design the house to enable the people to lead "healthy and happy" lives. To ensure that, the students have been provided with a list of appliances ranging from 19" TV sets, stereo systems, clothes dryers and so on and so forth. One wonders, wouldn't these people be more concerned with their survival rather than all these luxuries? Here is what one entity, which shall be collectively known as GAP. has to say - " It's absurd, ridiculous and pointless". Point noted. But this is the way of the RP, and so shall we forge. But as a sidenote, at this rate - we are not going to become Thinkers, Leaders and Pioneers. It'll be more along the lines of Contractors, Electricians, and Technicians.

3) Change can be both a curse and cure. It is a double-edged sword. It totally depends on the context. Due to recent events, I've come to think of it as more of a curse.

4) School-going kiddos, say bye bye to watching the World Cup finals. Why? It's at 2 AM, on a school going day. Unless you want to go to school looking like a happy zombie, with bloodshot eyes and just stone in class. I say, screw timezones.

5) Distilled Witch Hazel is an excellent ingredient for use, in any kind eye drop. It effectively relieves the irritating omg-my-eyes-are-on-fire-aaaah kinda feeling. Coincidentally, it's the active ingredient in Optrex. So, go Optrex.

6) Holidays never seem to be rest breaks. More like extended study/finishyourfrigginhomework "breaks".

7) RP students MAYBE woefully unprepared for A-Levels.

So here are some of my observations. The author's aim is to make the world a happy-slappy one and not intended to insult/cause grievous harm to anyone. Thank you, for your kind understanding.
